4 Days Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, Tanzania

On this 4 Days Safari you will explore the Tarangire National Park with its huge elephant herds, the diverse landscape of Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro National Park, a collapse volcano filled with wild animals.

Itinerary

After pick up from airport we head towards Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterward, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. 

After this exiting day, we drive you to your accommodation for the overnight stay.

After breakfast we will drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater that continuing as far as the eye can see. The vast view of the Serengeti, which means “endless plain" and is inhabited by more than 2 million wildebeest and other wildlife. From January to April the Zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle give birth to their calves which attracts  large predators including lions, cheetah, and hyenas to the area. There are also over 500 species of birds.

After this game drive, you  will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

We can wake early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti at Dawn if you wish. This should be discussed with your safari guide the previous night. After the early morning game drive you will take breakfast at the lodge/camp then leave with a packed lunch and spend the whole day in the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park is the largest part of the Serengeti – Masai Mara Ecosystem that stretches into Kenya and is the stage for the Annual Wildebeests Migration that sees Millions of Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles trek thousands of Kilometers in search of pasture and Water. Serengeti is also the home for some amazing numbers of wild animals and bird life. Overnight in the Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, will pack our staff and have un route game drive while we drive to Ngoro Ngoro and will descend into the crater with lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than six hours, The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. In the late afternoon we drive back to Arusha.
