Jozani Forest Tour

The forest is home to a number of endemic species, including the Zanzibar Red Colobus monkey. The mangrove boardwalk takes you above the swamp, where, depending on the tide, you can see tropical fish flitting between the mangrove roots and crab scuttling across the mud.

Jozani Forest currently shelters an estimate of 1000 Kirks red colobus monkeys and other mammal species including duikers, bush babies, African civets and Sykes monkeys among others.

Kizimkazi Dolphin Adventure

Kizimkazi is home to a large numbers of bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins, beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish.
The dhow can get as close as 10-20 meters away from the dolphins as they jack-knife through the water, sometimes showing off with jump and twists.

Tourists have been lucky enough to swim and snorkel with these magical animals. Whether you´re lucky enough to see dolphins or not, you will enjoy a two-hour boat ride, and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean.

Paje Beach

Home to the island’s most idyllic beaches.

You’re surrounded by long beaches and tropical forests and palm trees are the typical landscape. It really is like a dreamed come true place, where you can get lost in the beautiful scenery and forget everything else. The strong tides completely transform the view from morning to afternoon, and the easterly winds make the zone a prime spot for kitesurfing.

Kuza / Maalum Cave

The ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal clear turquoise fresh water, was formed about 250,000 years ago. After thousands of years of water erosion, it created the secret underground rivers and pools. There is easy access to the large light-filled circular cave and a reception with a restaurant and large shaded area where you can buy food and drinks.

The area around the cave is a peaceful wildlife sanctuary for wildlife which includes Red Colobus Monkeys, colourful butterflies, many birds, chindi and bush babies. Kuza Cave is recognised as a sacred place for the ancestors of Jambiani residents.

Welcome to Maalum, a unique natural swimming pool in Paje, Zanzibar. A special place to reconnect with nature, explore the underground life, relax and enjoy the tranquility.
